8 Themes of NWCSC:
The Nepal Women Community Service Center (NWCSC) focuses on eight key thematic areas:
- Education for children: Providing quality education to children, promoting early childhood development, and ensuring that all children have access to learning opportunities.
- Child women and youth’s development: Promoting rights of children, women and youths, ensuring they have access to education, healthcare and opportunities for professional growth, Ensure RH and mental health services, campaign to stop child marriage, quality care and wellbeing.
- Promoting livelihood through Enterprise Development: Supporting to create and growth of small and medium enterprises, ensure access to finance, strengthening cooperative and microfinance services, create job opportunities, skill development and market linkage through green shop and livelihood support to reduce poverty levels in disadvantaged communities.
- Prevention of all forms of Gender Based Violence : Taking proactive measures to end violence against women through education campaign for GBV, access to justice, Ensure GESI support services and community outreach programs.
- Protection of the Environment and Climate Resilience: Implementing sustainable practices and initiatives to protect the environment, mitigate climate change impacts, and build resilience in communities vulnerable to environmental hazards.
- Peace and Development: Ensure good governance for holistic human development, media campaign for sustainable development goals.
- Humanitarian response: Providing immediate and effective aid during emergencies and disasters, ensuring that affected populations receive essential.
- Health and Nutrition: Support on maternal and child health, awareness on WASH(Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), dietary diversity, nutrition and food security.
